Accessibility
The resort features level outdoor areas, a sandy beach, docks, and cabin parking nearby, but the historic Bellair cabins have steps at the entrances and are not fully wheelchair accessible. Guests with mobility concerns should contact the resort to discuss the best cabin option before booking.
Why It's Worth the Stop
The six historic restored Bellair cabins at Crooked Lake Resort are a rare surviving example of Michigan’s classic Up North vacation culture. Once slated for demolition, the cabins were lovingly restored by owner Ron, preserving their distinctive vertical wood-plank design and giving travelers the opportunity to stay in a piece of Michigan history rather than simply read about it.
Beyond the cabins, you’ll find a peaceful lakeside setting with a sandy beach, docks, fishing, a charming bait shop, and a handcrafted stone lighthouse built by Ron himself. Add in the genuine hospitality of owners Ron and Liz, and it’s easy to see why so many guests return year after year.
