Why It's Worth the Stop

Hinckston Run Falls isn’t a natural waterfall at all, it was created in 1904 when the Hinckston Run Reservoir was built nearby, sending its overflow spilling 60 feet down a stone cliff face into a pool below.

The falls can only be viewed from the road at the intersection of Waterfall Drive and Honan Avenue, since all surrounding land is posted no trespassing. That makes it a true roadside attraction in the most literal sense: pull over, look, and go.
